Emerson Process Management: Research studies, Personas, and Design

Lead and completed extensive contextual inquiry study of users of industrial control, field devices, reliability, and field communicator products. No other known study of its kind has been done in this industry before, resulted in Emerson adopting Human Centered Design as an all-company program. Output included 25 personas, 2 stakeholder maps. Contextual inquiry involved 19 site visits of numerous types of industrial plants including power generation, refineries, chemical, and pharmaceutical.
